About this urn
The Square Urn is a cremation urn handmade in Germany from 100% hemp fibre paper. Its square shape draws on stone-built houses and woven textiles, and gives it a steady, sheltering form.
Each urn is shaped by hand, so no two are exactly alike. It contains no glues, binders or artificial stabilisers, so it returns fully to the earth when buried.
It comes with soft cotton ribbons, OEKO-TEX certified, for lowering at a burial. It suits a family grave or a natural burial site, and can also be kept at home.
