The Quilt Urn is a cremation urn handmade in Germany from 100% hemp fibre paper. Its surface is shaped to look like the stitched pattern of a quilt, drawing on the comfort of a familiar blanket.
The urn is shaped by hand using traditional paper-making techniques. It is light but strong, and contains no glues or binders, so it returns fully to the earth when buried.
It comes with soft cotton ribbons for lowering at a burial, and suits a family grave or a natural burial site. Its soft texture also makes it suited to keeping ashes at home.
