Complicated, funny, brave, crazy. He lived his life in chapters after growing up in appalling poverty to 2 warring parents. He had his first child adopted and watched his mother die in an avalanche on television in chapter 2. He met my mother he drove a Rolls-Royce had a house in Chigwell with a swimming pool but wanted so much to be loved. Chapter 3 he found that love in Jean. They married in the little Whitechapel in Vegas with Elvis as their only guest they lived in Spain where they owned a bar until my dad developed his property developing company.. he hated the cold of the winters and learnt to paint in oils. In chapter 4, he married his third wife and had his third child. A long for son called Charlie.. He built houses and businesses, creating work for local people and loved within his community. He died loved by that community.
