Granda, you could grow anything, From a seed so small and bare.
Your garden always came to life, With patient, loving care.
You built birdhouses for us all, And kept the feeders filled.
With gentle hands and quiet ways, Such kindness you instilled.
You loved a game of "25," And taught us songs to sing.
The simple things brought you such joy, And joy is what you'd bring.
You lived to see your 102nd year, A life both long and good.
But since dear Granny left this world, Your heart was with her all along, She was your rock, your home.
We'll miss your daily presence, your stories, laughs, and ways, But hold you close within our hearts, through all our future days.
Now rest in peace, dear Granda, your work on earth is done, Back beside our Granny, Two hearts that beat as one.
